What the package covers
Mobilisation and site set-up
Access control, welfare facilities, and temporary security for the duration of the works, as the project requires.
Site hoarding and perimeter protection
Steel and timber hoarding with jersey barriers, pedestrian walkway enclosures and access gates, installed in phases to match the road frontages.
Demolition and strip-out
Buildings, boundary walls, kerbs and gate structures taken down under an approved method statement.
Utility survey and below-ground removal
A utility survey (ground-penetrating radar where required) before any excavation, authority approvals, and hand digging near identified services.
Site clearance and grading
Debris removal, grading and a topographic survey of the cleared plot.
Traffic management
Temporary traffic arrangements agreed with the authorities where the works affect the road.
Waste segregation and reporting
Waste sorted by stream, with a waste log and diversion reporting for the engineer where the contract requires it.
Handover
Backfill compaction records, survey and documentation, so the next contractor starts from a known, clean baseline.
How an enabling package runs
Survey and scope confirmation
Site visit, review of drawings and existing structures, and agreement of the scope, programme and interfaces.
Approvals and utilities
Method statement and risk assessment approval, a utility survey, and authority approvals before excavation.
Hoarding and mobilisation
Perimeter hoarding installed, in phases where the site has several road frontages, with access control, security and traffic arrangements.
Demolition and clearance
Strip-out, controlled demolition, below-ground removal and debris clearance inside the protected perimeter.
Grading, survey and handover
Grading, backfill compaction records, a topographic survey and a documented handover of a construction-ready site.

Demolition contractor in RiyadhEnabling works, answered
What are enabling works?
Enabling works are the preparatory activities that must be complete before main construction starts, such as securing the site, removing existing structures, clearing and grading the plot, and protecting underground services.
What is the difference between enabling works and demolition?
Demolition is one part of enabling works. An enabling package also covers hoarding, utility survey, clearance, grading, traffic management and handover, so the site is ready to build on, not just empty.
Do you handle utility diversions?
We identify underground services with a utility survey (ground-penetrating radar where required), apply for authority approvals with the results, and hand-dig near identified utilities. Diversion of networks beyond the plot boundary is outside our usual scope.
Can hoarding and demolition be awarded separately?
Yes. Each can be awarded on its own, and both are also available in one package.
Where do you work?
We are based in Riyadh and work on projects across the Kingdom. Send the location and programme and we will confirm mobilisation.
Which documents can you provide for prequalification?
Method statements and risk assessments, HSE, quality and environmental policies, ISO certificates, project references and equipment records are available in our prequalification package on request.
